EncodeHD: Making iPhone videos easy.

EncodeHD has been sitting on my desktop for a while and I have no idea where I found it or how it got on my desktop. The only reason why I even clicked it is because now that I am effectively unemployed, or temporarily unemployed as the state of Florida defines it, I needed a way to convert all my videos for my iPhone while I am at the gym.

I’ve dealt with video encoding in one for or another over the years and EncodeHD has made this one of the easiest experiences ever. I’ve tried everything from VirtualDub, Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere, Gordian Knot, Nero, AnyDVD, Nandub, and TMPGEnc. With EncodeHD all you do is drag the files to the window, select the type of conversion (Apple TV, iPhone, iPod, PS3, PSP, Zune, Xbox 360, Blackberry), and his start. That’s it. I converted one of my 23 minute episodes of Flight of the Conchords in about 10 minutes on my Windows 7 RC (Build 7100) 64-bit PC.

If you need quick, and easy video encoding, save yourself the hassle of other applications out there and grab EncodeHD.

  1. Looks like the tool I was looking for lately,
as I couldnt get easy conversions.
Is it effective from Dvd source?
    I’m gonna try it immediately.
    Thank for the tip!

  2. It handles VOBs just like any other file. It couldn’t be any easier.
